Schools Out for the (Infinite) Summer
Now enters the “real” world. Yet before I sell my soul to my career, I thought I would enjoy some ME time (coupled with family time). And what better place to do this than at Disney World, where I can now relive every 5 year old’s dream. Fortunately it happens to also be a dream of mine since I had visited there last when I was five. We got the full experience by living within Disney’s resort, giving us access to the “Magic Hours.” This gave resort stayers an extra 1-4 hours before the park opens and after it closes. Visiting Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon with my niece and nephew made it extra special as I got to watch their excitement for Mickey much in the same way my parents viewed me when I was five. Although I must admit that Disney was way too over-crowded for my tastes, but I had to settle down and wait in lines just like the rest of them. “Hurry up and wait” should be their new tag line. Nonetheless, it was a great experience and a must-do for everyone before you become fat and old
Here are some photos from both my SCAD graduation and Disney vacation…

Pardon the “comb-over”

It really is the “Most Magical Place on Earth!”… see

Brotherly love… either I got heavier or he got weaker. I’m gonna go with the latter.

Amy (sister-in-law) and Ali (girlfriend) in front of the Epcot golf ball thingy

The cutest nephew and niece ever!

hmmm I spy, with my little eye, two empty seats, two dinosaurs, and two screaming girls
