Savannah has a great Jazz scene. The city just finished up it’s week long Jazz Festival in the park. I hope all those who live around the area or those who were traveling were able to make it. I make sure to go every year as it is a really chill atmosphere to lounge with friends and listen to great tunes. Savannah also has a music festival this coming year from March 18 to April 3, 2010. The festival contacted me to do the cover image for the event. It was a really fun project that allowed me free use of creativity and very little constraints. I modeled the image after my series BAK2BA6 (Back to Basics) by combining every day objects to form a completely new image when combined. The music festival has a really great lineup and I would strongly recommend lovers of all music to pencil it in their calender. See you there.
