This particular piece was commissioned by the Savannah Music Festival for their 2010 cover.
Simplicity is often masked by layers of flash and glitz. Phonetically sounded out, “Back to Basics” is a process of peeling those layers away to reveal the most basic elements – line, form, shape, color, texture, etc. This approach can rekindle any lost beauty due to the dizzying spell of complexity that we witness everyday.

I took the train from St. Augustine into Savannah this weekend and I fell in love with the guitar photo. I asked every store that had it posted, including SCAD, where I could purchase it. My boyfriend is a guitarist and he loved the photograph. Please let me know if there is a way to purchase a large print. Thanks!!!
