Back to School

Inspiration, School on January 9th, 2010 1 Comment

I finally got back in the swing of things down here in Savannah. Week one of winter quarter is already done and I have got so many thoughts running through my head. This quarter I will be producing my photography seniorĀ  project, which will be the compilation of all my learning over the past 4 years. This includes all of the images, photographers (past/present), concepts, aesthetics and photo theory that I have witnessed. It truly shaped both the person and photographer that I am today. With that aside I thought I might use this time to reveal two talented photographers that you may or may not know, Ryan Schude and Gregory Crewdson. Their images have atmosphere and an aspect of storytelling that I’m always striving to achieve. Like I said in my artist statement, “a great picture escapes words and enters the imagination,” and that’s exactly what these photographs do for me. While these two photographers are not new to the photo world they are definitely people to follow.
